Blair Deffenbaugh is an SCCA member, and motorsports enthusiast. His mission is to show average car enthusiasts that performance driving is within their grasp. Whether it’s autocross, HPDE, time trials, or road racing, Blair aims to spread the joy of driving.
He races in the Hoosier Super Tour, US Major Tour, Runoffs, and the SARRC Series in his 2010 Honda Fit in the B-Spec Class.

Jason participates not only in HPDE events but Road Races in the SVRA Series in the International GT Challenge. One of Jasons favorite things to do is taking people out on “Ride-Alongs”! By offering this people have the opportunity to enjoy track time and enjoy the Lambo as much as he does!

For Ryan Cheek, the finish line is only part of the story. Driven by her father’s 2019 ALS diagnosis, Ryan transformed challenge into a high-speed mission, proving that resilience is the best fuel.
As the owner of Ryan Cheek Racing, a wife & mother of two, and a dedicated Racing for ALS warrior, she has carved her name into the world of hillclimb racing. From the legendary heights of Pikes Peak to holding multiple records in the SCCA Appalachian Hillclimb Series, Ryan doesn't just "compete"—she leads.
She is a fierce advocate for women in motorsports, living by a simple standard: lead by example, break the records, and show the world that women belong in motorsports.

Kyle Wilder
Kyle Wilder is a hill climb and Time Attack racer with eight years of competition experience, including podium finishes in Time Attack and the Virginia City Hill Climb. He campaigns the #144 Camaro and is currently building toward the 2026 Pikes Peak International Hill Climb.
Outside of racing, Kyle has 16 years of law-enforcement experience and currently works in fugitive apprehension, bringing the same discipline, preparation, and focus to competition that he applies in his professional career. He races in support of Racing for ALS, using motorsports as a platform to raise awareness and support ALS research after losing a close friend to the disease.

In his 2018 Audi RS3, Rob competes in Time Attack on not only a Regional level but also on a National Level!
Participating with SCCA in the SeDiv Time Trial Series as well as the Time Attack National Tour. The Audi also competes in the SCCA Appalachian Hill Climb Series! For 2026 Rob will be competing at Pikes Peak Hillclimb!

Cam Albea
Cam Albea is an SCCA and Champcar member, former president of Highlands Sports Car Club, and is the reason that Joe Baker's Miata goes as fast as it does. Beginning with autocross in 2015, he progressed through the ranks and got on track in 2019 with Champcar Endurance Series. Though a longtime Miata fan, he currently drives a Subaru BRZ in SCCA Solo and Time Attack events around the southeast.

Paul Weeks
Paul Weeks, founder of Bad Medicine Racing, began his racing journey after his wife Paula was diagnosed with ALS. He partnered with Racing for ALS to help spread awareness about the disease that impacted his family so greatly. Paul’s goal is to help gain support for the necessary research, therapy, and patient assistance needed for those currently fighting ALS and to one day find the cure.

Jay Barakat
Jay Barakat, owner of Jax Racing, is an amateur race car driver. Jay retired from the Navy in 2018 after serving for 26 years. In 2020, he discovered his passion for racing. Jay's passion for ALS stems from the fact that statistics show Military Veterans are twice as likely to be diagnosed with ALS than civilians.

Joe Baker
Joe Baker is an SCCA, and ChampCar member and is the Autocross Chair for Highlands Sportscar Club in Western NC. He is in his 4th year of Enduro Racing in the ChampCar series. Joe's route to wheel to wheel racing started in simulators at "The Track Asheville" which evolved into AutoCross, then SCCA TimeTrials thanks to his teammate Cam Albea. He and his team have taken his 1994 Miata from a non-running roller into the fast and fun car it is today. Sam Baker
Sam Baker is a member of Highlands Sports Car Club in Western North Carolina. He is a multi-time champion of the JC-C class in the HSCC Junior Karting autocross class and is the reigning North Carolina Autocross Champion for JC-C class. When not running autocross, Sam is involved in league racing at Victory Lane Karting in Charlotte NC. Among other loves, Sam is an avid Golfer, Swimmer and a student at Asheville Christian Academy. Justin Cummings
Driver of the #97 in the Advance Auto Parts Weekly Sportsman Division at the world-famous quarter mile oval known to many as the “Mad House”, Bowman Gray! Bowman Gray is the oldest NASCAR sanctioned track in the country that still runs weekly!
Justin is a club member at Virginia International Raceway and also participates in HPDE events. His racing goals for the future include getting a vintage stock car to run in the SVRA series!
Justin races with 25+ years with Triad Sports Car Club in Winston Salem with multiple class wins and a Championship in 2017! In his spare time he participates in multiple endurance karting events with the Endurance Karting series!

Nathan Trenor
Nathan Trenor runs Anchor Truck Accessories with his Dad and his sister. He does wheel to wheel racing with the National Auto Sport Association in three different classes. He races in their Super Touring 4 class and also in their new Hyperfest GT series in his K24A2 swapped Miata. He races in NASA's Honda Challenge 2 class in a 2006 Honda S2000. He also races in local Nascar on short track ovals and does endurance racing with 24 Hours of Lemons.
